We are looking for a Founding Engineer to join our innovative team at a New York-based robotics startup. As a critical member of the founding team, you will take ownership of developing and implementing cutting-edge robotics technology, driving the technical aspects of product development from initial concept through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems, including hardware and software integration.
Oversee the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability and efficiency in design and deployment.
Collaborate with the founding team to solve complex technical challenges.
Balance strategic planning with hands-on technical development in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

Robotics Engineering, Software Development, and Hardware Integration skills
Experience in designing and implementing robotic systems
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C++, C
Proficiency in kernel management and development in UNIX-based operating systems especially for embedded systems
Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or related field
