RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement short and long-term financial strategies in alignment with organizational goals
Provide financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Lead all financial and tax reporting, auditing, and compliance activities
Support the Finance, Audit, Investment, and Risk Management committees
Manage treasury and banking activities, including investments and cash flow
Collaborate with Human Resources on employee benefit plans and workforce planning
Identify, evaluate and pursue new revenue generation opportunities
Build strong relationships with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of Directors
Foster a culture of equity, inclusion, transparency, and integrity
Drive operational efficiency, scalability, and the use of technology to enhance finance functions and UWGC impact
Support the planning and execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus but not required
Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
Proven track record of high performance, growth, identifying new revenue streams and team development
Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysis
Experience presenting financial information to executive teams and Boards of Directors
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector is a plus
