RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement short and long-term financial strategies in alignment with organizational goals
- Provide financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Lead all financial and tax reporting, auditing, and compliance activities
- Support the Finance, Audit, Investment, and Risk Management committees
- Manage treasury and banking activities, including investments and cash flow
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee benefit plans and workforce planning
- Identify, evaluate and pursue new revenue generation opportunities
- Build strong relationships with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of Directors
- Foster a culture of equity, inclusion, transparency, and integrity
- Drive operational efficiency, scalability, and the use of technology to enhance finance functions and UWGC impact
- Support the planning and execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus but not required
- Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Proven track record of high performance, growth, identifying new revenue streams and team development
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysis
- Experience presenting financial information to executive teams and Boards of Directors
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector is a plus
