Position Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing the data infrastructure that powers critical business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Pipeline Development & Management
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process data from diverse sources such as sensors, production systems, and chemical processes.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage for real-time and batch analysis.
- Develop and enhance data models, schemas, and storage solutions to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and cloud teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable environments using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Partner with data scientists, process engineers, and R&D teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
- Deliver clean, documented datasets to support analytics and machine learning applications in semiconductor cleaning.
- Enforce data quality standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
- Implement validation, cleansing, and error-checking mechanisms to enhance data integrity.
- Automate recurring processes, tasks, and reports to boost efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and tools for real-time data flow and KPI monitoring.
- Data Security & Compliance
- Safeguard sensitive data by adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role, preferably in semiconductor, chemical processing, or manufacturing.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, Apache Spark, and ETL frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and distributed computing concepts.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Industry Knowledge
- Experience with semiconductor, chemical cleaning solutions, and industrial automation is highly desirable.
