Responsibilities

Assemble parts and units: align and fasten parts to assemblies, sub-assemblies, and frames using hand and power tools.
Follow safety guidelines for the safe operation of all equipment.
Work with live AC and DC voltages for the testing of electro-mechanical assemblies while maintaining a safe work environment.
Test the performance of the electro-mechanical assemblies using an automated electronic test system tied to computers and be able to operate such software and properly record all test results based on documented standard work.
Reviews and reworks similar components and assemblies.
Cleans and touches up finished products through the use of pre-determined solvents, as well as removing excess flashing, blemishes, etc.
Perform regular test and inspection procedures ensuring that machines are assembled to specifications.
Will be responsible for purchasing and replenishing parts. Complete all assignments in a timely manner and meet production delivery schedule.
Package final assembly for shipping.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

0-2 years of experience, bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related major, prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or related field is preferred
Have a general mechanical assembling understanding, self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Can study, read, and interpret schematic engineering drawings
Can build components and assemble drilling machines with unique requirements from start to finish
Can use hand tools, magnetic drill, grinder, and air tools to assemble the product
Can use measurement devices such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
Able to troubleshoot own work, perseverance in solving problems, and finding new ways to deliver better efficiency
Accurately report production achieved and associated inventory transactions
Basic PC knowledge (ability to operate a keyboard and basic navigation between screens within an application)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
