Manion's Wholesale is a true 2 step wholesale distributor of building materials. We are selling to Lumberyards covering the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, UP of Michigan, eastern parts of North and South Dakota as well as northern Iowa.
We are looking for an Outside Sale Representative coving the Minneapolis Metro, up to Milaca, St Cloud, down to Litchfield, and across to Red Wing, MN. (Rough current coverage area).
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for customer service through various duties, including meeting with customers, entering and maintaining sales orders, increase market share, promoting sales initiatives of suppliers, and building networks and customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Service existing clients
- Effectively demonstrate product line(s)
- Build and maintain a network of sources
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs
- Maintain details reports of sales activities include sales calls, orders, customers and or vendor concerns
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in sales with strong track record of success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Ability to function well in a face paced and at times stressful environment
- Strong communication skills
- proficient with Microsoft and adaptable to new software
