Full Stack Developer, React/TypeScript
Fast growing, national tech company has an immediate need for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you will join a world class team revolutionizing the industry for the B2B and B2C markets. You will leverage hands on TypeScript/React development skills in an AWS environment, to create and deliver scalable, robust web applications that meet the needs of both institutional and commercial consumers. You will create and deliver web application projects from the user interface design to back end logic as a member of a growing collaborative, and dynamic engineering team.
What you will do:
- Partner with internal and external teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Hands on development using TypeScript, React, and back-end technologies such as AWS Amplify or Flask.
- Partner with UX Designers to translate wireframes into code.
- Ensure applications achieve high quality performance standards.
- Participate in code reviews with a highly collaborative engineering team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Set up and deliver a CI/CD pipeline in AWS.
Your skills and experience include:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development with React or React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience partnering with UX/UI designers and translating wireframes into code and following design libraries.
- Understanding of backend architecture and services such as Django or Flask
- Experience working in an AWS environment including hands on projects using EC2, Amplify, and Lambda
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices (experience developing and setting up a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline).
- Bachelors or Masters in computer science, mathematics, or similar, or equivalent work experience
