Senior Civil Branch Manager / Project Manager
Eng. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineer, Project Manager to join our Lansing or Grand Rapids-based team to lead and grow these locations. This role offers a blend of leadership, business development, and project execution, providing a pathway for career growth within our expanding firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering, experience managing a variety of civil projects, maintaining client relationships, and a passion for mentoring teams while driving operational success. Eng. primarily works on municipal, County Drain, site development, roadway/pathway, and water distribution projects from scoping through construction phase.

Responsibilities of this role include:
· Plans, schedules, and coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects.
· Serves as the technical advisor for the organization in the application of advanced concepts and methods in an assigned area.
· Understands project delivery uncertainties and uses risk management principles to address them.
· Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications.
· Reviews operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.
· Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
· Values and analyzes sustainable performance of complex civil engineering projects from a systems perspective.
· Exceptional communication.
· Represents their area of specialty within the organization and liaises with related individuals and organizations.
· Integrates professional attitudes relevant to the practice of civil engineering and fosters creativity, curiosity, flexibility, and dependability in staff.
· Provides mentoring and continued development experience to senior staff.
· Routinely interacts with organizational leaders, clients, officials, contractors, and others.
· Integrates concepts of effective teamwork and leadership

Desired qualification of this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer license
- 6+ years professional experience
- 3+ years project management experience
- people management experience
- Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
