Position: Transportation Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Lansing, MI
Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary.

Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with roadway design projects
- Experience supporting projects for Department of Transportation (DOT)
- Experience working with roadway design software (OpenRoads, GEOPAK, or others)
- PE (Professional Engineering License)
Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking to hire a Roadway Design Engineer for a client supporting multiple state DOT projects in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced design software, including OpenRoads, to develop and implement efficient and effective roadway and drainage solutions, both new and upgraded roadway systems in urban and rural areas. Responsibilities include preparing design plans, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Strong analytical skills and experience in civil engineering design are essential for this role.
