Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Architect to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a salaried position.
What You'll Do
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and secure solutions using Python and Java
Integrate various technologies like IBM Datapower, API Connect, and OpenShift to create a robust architecture
Utilize cloud services like Azure to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions
Implement strong authentication protocols (Oauth, Mutual Cert) to safeguard sensitive data
Design microservices architecture for modularity and maintainability
Implement monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Dynattrace) for performance optimization and troubleshooting
What You'll Need
5+ years of experience leading the development of complex systems with similar technology stacks
Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and performant solutions
In-depth knowledge of Python and Java programming languages
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and containerization technologies like OpenShift
Familiarity with API Management tools (IBM API Connect) and application gateways (IBM Datapower)
Understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and database programming languages (PL/SQL, ESQL)
Experience with API security protocols (Oauth, Mutual Cert Authentication)
Knowledge of microservices architecture principles and best practices
Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace)
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of one active technical certification in Java (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer)
IBM Certified Solution Developer - App Connect Enterprise V11
IBM Certified Solution Implementer - DataPower Gateway
Additional relevant technical certifications are a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
