Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork, providing agent support, tracking contract statuses, and more. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prior customer service or administrative experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Processing paperwork with insurance carriers for agents and agencies
- Providing overall agent support and assistance via phone and email
- Following up with insurance carriers and agents as necessary
- Processing applications and beneficiary enrollments
- Tracking statuses of contracts submitted by insurance agents
- Confirming certain requirements are met to sell Medicare Advantage and other Medicare products
- Working in large files that contain sensitive agent information to identify and resolve issues
- Tracking and reporting production
- Providing backup to the receptionist on a rotating schedule (breaks, lunches, vacations)
Primary Skills & Requirements
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior customer service and/or administrative experience
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to learn proprietary computer systems
- Excellent communication skills with emphasis on professionalism and attention to detail
