Under indirect supervision, the painter is responsible for painting of small electronic components. The paint technician must have strong attention to detail, understanding of manufacturing paint procedures, knowledge of HVLP gun, and use or knowledge of Aerospace Epoxy preferred.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
-Prepare surfaces for priming and painting
- Adjust nozzles and mix paint for proper paint flow and thickness
- Quality check painted partes to verify no runs or streaks
- Touch up missed areas
- If flaws are found determine why and how to fix
- Follow paint schedules for application and dry times of primer and paint
- Follow appropriate PPE and safety requirements.
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-High school or GED
- 1 year of related experience or training
- Associates or Technical degree and 6 months of experience
- Experience with painting in a manufacturing or automotive environment

-Frequent lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and hand eye coordination
- Long periods of standing and sitting.
Pay Range: $18-30 depending on experience
