Job Description
The MA Psychologist I is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: providing psychological evaluation, therapy, consultation, and interdisciplinary clinical leadership with a designated caseload.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
2. Provide psychological and neuropsychological screening and behavioral assessments and design effective individual consumer treatment plans (including Behavioral Support Plans) and goals consistent with Recipient Rights, State of Michigan AFC Licensing rules, APA and specialty board practice guidelines, and APA ethical standards.
3. Provide individual and group education, training, and psychotherapy when clinically indicated.
4. Provide leadership in formulating a consensus regarding client characteristics and development of a consistent treatment approach to identified goals in the context of interdisciplinary treatment.
5. Provide consultation services to individuals served, referral and funding sources, HNNR staff, and involved parties relevant to client treatment.
6. Participate in program development and evaluation.
7. Participate in education and training activities of employees.
8. Fulfill other duties as assigned. Specific
Responsibilities-Non-Essential:
1. Participate in or develop research activities to advance awareness of the consequences and treatment of BI.
2. Advance awareness of the HNNR BI program in our community through presentations at workshops and conferences and involvement with professional associations (e.g. WMBIN, BIA, APA, GRAMEP). 3. Provide psychological services to contractual agencies as an employee of Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation Services.
Educational / Talent Requirements:
1. Minimum Education required: Master s Degree from an accredited university in a clinical psychology health profession (Health Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Counseling Psychology).
2. Credentials: Psychology Limited License in Michigan.
3. Demonstrated writing skills for professional documents, including clinical documentation and clinical work products in an EMR framework.
4. Competence in training, public speaking, professional education and professional presentation skills.
5. Competence in psychological and neuropsychological screening assessment, psychometric administration, behavioral assessment, clinical treatment, and clinical consultation roles.
6. Ability to work with a variety of individuals as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to articulate and actively support the mission of the corporation to various audiences.
9. Valid driver s license and eligibility to drive according to HNNR policy.
Work Experience Requirements:
1. Clinical experience: a minimum of 2 years clinical service experience in health service psychology. Prefer 1 year experience with neurological populations in an interdisciplinary treatment environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
