Job Title: Supply Tech
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Henderson, NV (onsite)
Contract Duration: 4 weeks
Work Hours: DAYS - 8HR: ( M-F 7-3:30 )
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Technical Skills Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheets, databases and material management systems.
- Performs responsibilities consistent with hospital safety policies.
- Ensures appropriate patient related charge labels are utilized for all patient revenue item(s).
- Utilizes the Supply Chain application system accurately.
- Performs routine cycle counts of warehouse stock as directed.
- Keeps an accurate par level of patient use equipment in specified areas.
- Fills stock requests on appropriate order days for hospital departments and off-site facilities.
- Replenishes specialty carts accurately and rapidly, ensuring correct patients charging.
- Receives and restocks warehouse inventory daily.
- Ensures the delivery of items requested in a timely manner.
- Is familiar with vendors and hospital supplies/equipment.
- Responsible for supply expense management and control.
- Demonstrates knowledge and overview of Supply Chain Operations and how it corresponds to daily hospital operations.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment.
- Competency in use of technology and computers as necessary for job responsibilities.
- Helps maintain department in a neat and organized condition.
- Demonstrates and takes a team effort in helping the department reach goals and meet deadlines.
- Ensures proper filing, typing and organization of all paperwork.
- Demonstrates ability by performing assignments independently without close supervision.
- Adjusts appropriately to volume of work to complete tasks in a timely manner without interfering with quality of work.
- Responds well to instructions and training, applying new knowledge of duties
- Makes suggestions/recommendations for improved operations to the department, facility.
- Effectively communicates both orally and in writing.
