Part-Time Tele-Medicine Locums Job for Psychiatrists in Austin, Texas
Our client needs a Psychiatrist to provide part-time ongoing coverage for their Austin, Texas clinic. Hours will vary with patient volume, but you can expect at least 5 and up to 15 hours each week. Coverage will need to be onsite to assist with their TMS program, but there will be tele consults for patients who cannot come into the office. The client is also building up their pool of PMHNP's in the office, so there is an expectation of supervision for 2 NP's until a permanent solution is finalized.
Details/Requirements:
- Coverage will be part time 5-15 hours/week
- On-site coverage needed for TMS program
- Tele-medicine consults and follow-ups
- Must have experience with prescribing Spravato
- Initial assessments, medication follow ups, and supervision of NPs
- No call
- Credentialing includes a TB test, drug screen, physical exam, and a criminal background check
