Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an SEM Strategist. The SEM Strategist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to Paid Search/PPC marketing including but not limited to account and campaign management, developing and presenting reports, and post-click/landing page development. This role is based in Falls Church, VA but offers flexibility for remote work.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Perform regular account management of PPC campaigns, executing best practices focused on improving KPIs (CTR, CPA, Conversions, ROAS, CVR, etc.) to deliver consistently improved results for our clients
- Perform regular account analysis and reporting using in-platform data alongside in-house reporting dashboards and tools
- Create and manage new paid search accounts and campaigns, taking ownership of the client onboarding process from the initial launch through the optimization phase
- Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates, as required
- Assist with the creation and optimization of post-click/landing page experience
- Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and campaign performance.
- Work closely with other team members to meet and exceed client goals
- Keep pace with Google Ads and PPC industry trends and developments

Professional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 4 years of direct hands-on experience with Google Ads management
- High-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Google Ads certifications required
- BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
