The Role
This role will report to our Industrial Commercial (Trade) Marketing Manager. Primary responsibilities be focused on supporting our merchandising refresh program which includes the development of product demos/displays and restocking promotional items. The position will also oversee our fulfillment house regarding inventory set up, maintenance and rep. orders and assist with the development of a new merchandising catalog. This will be accomplished through collaboration with marketing, regional managers, field sales and product managers and other support teams. This position is a good opportunity for a recent graduate interested in obtaining work experience in the area of merchandising and marketing.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Work with suppliers to develop new product demo’s and branding materials
- Manage project and vendor relationships with Purchasing to provide specifications to quote jobs
- Maintain our promotional gift card program and inventory
- Opportunity to participate in the development of a merchandising activation program to grow sales
- Oversee merchandising inventory levels with our third-party vendor.
- Work within defined budgets
Individual Requirements
- Business/marketing degree with some merchandising experience
- Ability to think creatively, detailed oriented and excel in multi-tasking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to conduct meetings and give presentations to internal and external audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Other: Excellent communication and conceptual thinking, information seeking, confident, customer service orientated, presentation skills, collaboration, organizational awareness & commitment, ability to deliver in fast-paced environment
Additional Information
- Position is a contract role anticipated to be a minimum of 6 - 12 months
- Selected candidate will be an employee of a 3rd party agency
- Position is located in Wilmington, MA with on-site work at least 3 days per week
