BPN is seeking a PCU RN that provides care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Ratios: 1: 3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). this position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs. Traveler will work with the CNRO Centralized Resource Nursing Pool), Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses. Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled and New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital. Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift. Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors, PCU’s, Cardiac floors, Rehab, BHH, PACU, and our inpatient holding space for ED. Candidates will not float to the ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary.
Contract Details:
- Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- Every other weekend
- 13-week contract
- Est. weekly $2,956.32-$3,100.32 pay w/ travel stipend included

- Must have 3years of PCU experience
- NIHSS
- BLS
- ACLS
