A Medical Group in San Antonio is looking to add a LVN to their Urgent Care. The interview will be held ASAP!
Hours: Rotating 12's (3 days on, 4 days off), 1 weekend a month required
Pay: Based on experience,
Differential pay - weekdays is 2% on top of hourly
Weekends is 15% on top of hourly

Job Duties:
- Must be AED and CPR-certified
- Obtains, verifies and records the health history of patients.
- Gathers pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
- Collects specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Provides basic patient care as ordered. Administers medications and treatments as directed.
- Assists other healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments, and minor medical procedures.
- Documents assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, and test results in medical records.
- Provides patient education materials, and communicates provider advice/instructions at time of discharge.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to medical assistants and LVNs on the issues of outpatient care, medications, or scheduling.
- If certified, may start IVs and assist with other patient procedures as requested by providers.
- Works independently, and maintains a schedule of patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
