We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hospitality Sales Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our Owner & Senior Sales Associate to support sales efforts and contribute to the growth of our hospitality division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in interior design, arts, or high-end sales to kickstart their career in a thriving industry.
Responsibilities
Supporting Sales Efforts:
- Coordinate hospitality clients' presentations calendar and schedule appointments.
- Prepare presentation tools and tailored materials for client meetings.
- Facilitate the delivery of marketing and sample materials to clients.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with Project Managers to expedite client requests.
Business Development & Marketing:
- Maintain detailed sales activity reports and client contact lists.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Enhance product knowledge through training and online research.
- Manage social media promotion and engagement strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing special client events and industry trade shows.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or interior design is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Apple iOS, Google Suite
- Familiarity with social media platforms, such as instagram, LinkedIn and Hootsuite (or similar)
- Willingness to attend client meetings, events, and trade shows as required.
- Must be able to work in person during the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Longer hours may be required to complete sales-related tasks and to attend occasional evenings and weekends during vendors’ seasonal visits to the market, trade shows, and industry events.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for transportation to client meetings, vendor visits, and other business-related activities.
