Financial Planning Analyst

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
1-3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role, including financial consolidations.
Strong accounting knowledge
Ability to work with data, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information to top level management
Ability to build and maintain working relationships across the organization

Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the Corporate Finance team
Provide financial planning and analysis support. Development of budgets and forecasts, including preparing slide decks for management presentations.
Review business unit metrics to identify and avoid discrepancies
Coordinate with a variety of business units to understand and report on monthly items. This will include items such as inventory, working capital, and quarterly and annual capital projects.
Follow up with business units to understand significant variances between actual, budget, and forecast results, and assist with corrective actions
Maintaining benchmarking summaries
Perform various ad-hoc projects as needed
