Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time, hybrid-remote role.
Territory
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales in our South West Regional (Sarasota, Venice, Fort Myers, Naples,) Division. Area Sales Managers are responsible for driving sales in their assigned territory and report to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions
- Meet with residential home builder representatives
- Attend sales conferences and builder expos.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiar with CRM software and MS Office
- Knowledge of residential construction processes and materials
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar sales role
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communicator
- Experience working with home builders, developers, and suppliers
