Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s existing home builder customers and key accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to drive market share growth within the home building industry.

Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
Conduct regular meetings with key accounts to review performance, address concerns, and explore new business opportunities.

Market Share Expansion

Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s market share within the existing customer base.
Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with the company's overall business objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.

Customer Support

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and customer service) to ensure that customer needs are met, and issues are resolved promptly.
Provide customers with product information, training, and support to enhance their experience with the company’s services.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers and seamless integration of new products or services.

Sales Performance

Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as set by the Vice President of Sales.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on account performance, market trends, and sales forecasts.
Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns that may impact long-term relationships.

Contract Negotiation

Lead negotiations for contract renewals, pricing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure that all contracts are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the home building or construction industry.
Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Travel

Regular travel to customer sites and industry events may be required.
Combination of office work and field visits.
