Local Electrical Contractor specializing in Commercial Projects & Public Works Projects in Northern California seeks a senior level Project Manager with multiple years of experience in Electrical Construction:
The Senior Project Manager will be able to multi-task, is detail-oriented and responsible for executive level management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build external relationships with the General Contractors and/or Project Owners, Subcontractors and Vendors, and other trade Contractors to ensure successful projects.
- Take part in a cohesive Team while building relationships within the company, coaching and coordinating with Field Staff and other Project Staff during the project.
- Scheduling and timing to maximize cash flow. Project job revenue, costs and change orders.
- Create Budget and Schedule of Values from Estimate. Submission and negotiation of progress billings and change orders.
- Facilitate Project buy-outs/PO's and Subcontracts.
- Identify and mitigate risk by: understanding plans and specifications, staying actively engaged in jobsite scheduling and activities, and understanding what opportunities can be implemented to accelerate production
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience
- Must understand the entire construction process from design project close-out; including bid analysis, budgeting, writing scopes of work, document interpretation, design-build and negotiated projects
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Ability to prioritize, complete tasks, and address issues in a timely manner
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook and Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore
- Ability to work with a Team and independently
- Possess excellent written and verbal skills
