Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Civil Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large commercial site development and FDOT projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of civil construction practices, a proven ability to manage complex projects, and a history of working with civil general contracting firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of civil construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with FDOT regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, specifically with large commercial site development and FDOT projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, FDOT regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from start to finish.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Certifications: PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
