Job responsibilities of a Structured/Voice and Data Cabling Project Manger:
- Field personnel performance management
- Communicate with the clients on a daily basis to keep them informed of project status
- Ability to generate schedules and participate with human resources in disciplinary process
- Maintain current industry knowledge
- Provide guidance to technicians in the field and ensure material is on site
- Capable of speaking with clients and attending meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Generate change orders and submit them to clients
- Assign technicians to projects in a timely manner
- Execute site walks to determine if the project is on track
- Perform all functions and other duties that may be assigned
What it takes to be successful as a Structured/Voice and Data Cabling Assistant Manager
- Bachelors degree or 2 years of project management experience
- Ten + years of related industry experience
- PMP certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to interpret & redline drawings.
- Work closely with procurement to order material
- Represent NCS with professionalism and integrity
