We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to oversee our technology operations, with a key focus on managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs), leveraging Power BI for data-driven insights, and demonstrating a broad range of IT skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also a jack-of-all-trades, capable of handling various technical and managerial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- MSP Management
- Develop and manage relationships with Managed Service Providers to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.
- Oversee MSP contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance and addressing any issues promptly.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to MSP services and solutions.
- Power BI:
- Utilize Power BI to create and manage dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop customized reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting processes.
- General IT Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending upgrades and innovations.
- Hands-On Technical Skills:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various systems and platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed.
- Participate in IT project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in IT management, with a strong background in MSP oversight and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse range of IT tasks and projects.
