Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a Related Technical Field
- Minimum 5 Years of Leadership Experience in Maintenance: Demonstrated success in leading maintenance teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in Maintenance Excellence Programs: Strong background in Asset Management, Breakdown Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Hands-on Experience with TPM and PM Systems: Proficient in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Pillar Systems and Tools.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Asset Management Software, AutoCAD, and Project Management.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance of plant equipment and systems, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability. This pivotal role requires acting as a critical liaison between Production and Engineering, driving the maintenance team to deliver reliable equipment at optimal costs. Your leadership will be key in advancing our maintenance strategies and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction: Provide leadership to the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all relevant city, state, and federal regulations.
- Operational Assessment: Regularly evaluate plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, swiftly address issues, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Metrics and Optimization: Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics, including asset utilization, maintenance costs, and PM compliance rates.
- CMMS Management: Maintain and optimize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for efficient tracking of work orders, spare parts inventory, and maintenance history.
- Equipment Procurement and Management: Oversee the procurement of equipment and manage upgrades or modifications to align with operational goals.
- Collaborative Policy Development: Work closely with management to develop policies, set goals, and implement strategies that drive company profitability and success.
- Safety and Compliance: Lead the maintenance department in fostering a safe, compliant, and accident-free workplace by adhering to established safety policies and procedures.
- Technical Expertise: Exhibit deep knowledge in the repair and maintenance of processing equipment and systems.
- Team Leadership and Development: Effectively lead, coach, and mentor a technical team, promoting continuous learning and improvement, and driving change across all organizational levels.
- Documentation and Interpretation: Competently read and interpret safety rules, procedural manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and financial data.
