Role: Lead Manual Tester
Location: TN or MS location; This role does require 75% travel (heavier travel will be in the October/November timeframe).Candidates MUST be open to heavy travel. They will be traveling to Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania.
Requirements and Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or a closely related field with 3 years as a Test Lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
• Lead manual testing efforts by collaborating with project stakeholders, both on in IT (internal and/or vendor) and Business Teams, understand documented functional and non-functional requirements for small to large transformational projects/programs.
• Independently lead overarching testing strategy including test plan/case creation, analysis, validation, and verification, ensuring that testing is complete, concise, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, including acceptance criteria.
• Document, analyze and take ownership of the following project deliverables:
• Test Strategy/Plan: Create, maintain and deliver a plan for all testing activities including the scope, objectives, approach, methodology, environments, deliverables, resources, schedule, entry and exit criteria, risk analysis, and other activities for testing to ensure a quality product is delivered.
• Test Cases: Create, maintain and execute detailed positive and negative executable step-by-step test cases to test each functional and non-functional requirement to ensure that the software produces expected results under various conditions. This includes pre-conditions, test data, expected results, post-conditions and actual results. Ensure that test cases execute effectively during internal testing and lead business users through test case execution.
• Traceability Matrix: In alignment with one or more Business Analysts, create and maintain RTM throughout the lifecycle of the project ensuring that each requirement is fully built and tested to ensure successful project delivery.
• Defect Report: Create, maintain and deliver a reporting mechanism to document, track, resolve and communicate issues, including description, severity, steps to reproduce, and status for issues found during testing. This also includes environment issues.
• Test Execution Report & Metrics: Create, maintain and deliver a reporting mechanism to provide quantitative measurement of testing progress and effectiveness ensuring inclusion of the results of executed tests, summarizing which tests passed, failed, or were skipped.
• Ensure understanding of test data management, working with designated key contacts to ensure test data set is complete for all necessary rounds of testing and refreshed at appropriate times.
• Responsible for stability of test environments, working with technical leads to ensure proper uptime and availability of test environments.
• Ensures signoff of all testing documents are obtained across the project/program stakeholder community, proactively ensuring alignment across project/program stakeholders.
• Evolve into subject matter expert in the designated field of work.
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate testing findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possess the ability to take direction from multiple project leaders and provide guidance on best testing practices.
