Company Overview:
My client provides technical horsepower for their clients serving them in two primary ways: a) in project development and b) with process expertise. This company’s client are in all sorts of industry segments, but this group specializes in helping their clients with energy transition, typically related to the use of hydrogen technology. This company has two main offices in this division, in Seattle and in Houston, and the person who accepts this role can work out of either location, or at one of their other US offices, and they have offices located in several major cities. The schedule is typically 3 days in-office, 2 days out and travel will average about 10%.
What You Will Be Doing:
Process Consultants for this company assist this company’s clients in a number of ways. They do risk assessments, due diligence work, competitive intelligence reporting, process modeling, scope development and preparation of FEL documents including at FEL 0, 1 and 2. This role involves close communication directly with client customers as well as significant cross-functional communication internally.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering required, highly prefer M.S. or PhD level of education
- Minimum of 8 years of industry experience
- Ideal backgrounds for this role is previous experience working for a technology licensing company or in-house lead process engineering team (operating company)
- Must be able to put together front-end loading documents from scratch and must have expertise in the FEL 0, 1 and 2 stages of project development
- An ideal candidate would have experience with processes to make hydrogen, ammonia, SAF, methanol and/or other synthetic fuels processes
