About the Role:
The Steam Turbine Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of steam turbine-related analysis, repairs, troubleshooting, and engineering processes. The program manager serves as an in-house expert in the design and evaluation of steam turbine blades and rotors. The program manager will lead and support engineers managing steam turbine repair projects. The program manager will interface with clients in the development of repair solutions and troubleshooting operational issues.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of steam turbine engineering activities, from initial analysis and design to final repair and testing.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on steam turbine design, maintenance, and repair processes. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on steam turbines, providing expert guidance on design, maintenance, repair, and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive inspection protocols to assess the condition and performance of steam turbines.
- Analyze inspection data to determine the root cause of issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain technical standards and procedures for steam turbine repairs disposition, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., API 687).
- Lead efforts in redesigning and upgrading steam turbines to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Oversee the manufacturing process of new or redesigned steam turbine components, ensuring they meet stringent quality and performance criteria.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in steam turbine technology and incorporate relevant innovations into the company's processes.
- Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects and support engineers managing projects involving steam turbine design analysis, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards. Conduct thorough reviews and inspections to maintain high levels of quality and safety.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering.
- 15+ years’ experience as a design engineer.
- Experience as an original equipment manufacturer.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
