Lead Process Engineer - Material Development - Artificial Intelligence
I'm looking for a Lead Process Engineer to own the conceptual design and modeling of my client's new chemical processes.
My client is at the forefront of innovation in their design, synthesis, and commercialization of new materials and chemical processes that are crucial for facilitating the energy transition, through their expertise in artificial intelligence
This person will work to design and build laboratory & pilot scale systems while executing conceptual and detailed Process Engineering including detailed process simulations.
Responsibilities
- Design of new process technologies and the translation of these into detailed process models
- Simulate and optimize our processes to identify optimal designs and create PFDs
- Design and build laboratory and pilot scale systems and evaluate test results
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in relevant discipline (Chemical Eng, Chemistry, Industrial, etc)
- Advanced knowledge in chemical process design and process simulation (new processes and current)
- Reactor modelling experience
- Experience with high level techno-economic analysis
Plus (Bonus):
- Experience with early technology development/new process design
- An interest in the integration of Material Science & Artificial intelligence (AI)
