Job Summary:
Hayes Locums seeks a Salesforce Developer to lead design and development of Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM platform. As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing strategic solutions for the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include identifying project objectives, analyzing implementation options, creating custom workflows, and troubleshooting errors. The ideal Salesforce Developer will be hands on in the entire development process from requirements gathering sessions through proof designs, UAT and demonstration solutions. To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive development experience with Salesforce CRM platforms, an ability to work with business leaders to identify requirements, and a knack for solving complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer will be able to create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Business and IT teams to establish agreed-upon timelines for projects
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and timelines and prioritizing workloads
- Modify and upgrade existing systems and functions in Salesforce
- Develop new features from the ground up in Salesforce
- Develop and upgrade functions in Lightning Design System and Lightning Components Development
- Complete maintenance activities and prepare new releases in Salesforce system
- Develop and coordinate data transfers between Salesforce and outside databases
- Stay up to speed on the newest Salesforce technologies and advancements
- Research and determine usefulness of new and emerging technologies
- Utilize Salesforce best practices and leverage available platform functionalities where possible.
- Communicate the pros and cons of a technical solution to business leaders
- Easily communicate your ideas through code, writing, presentations, lucid charts, demos, and whiteboard sessions
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Salesforce Admin and Platform 1 Certifications Required
- 5+ years of experience creating Flow automations
- 5+ years of experience in developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers
- 2+ years of UI/UX design experience
- Experience developing Lightning Components, both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework.
- Experience at debugging and resolving automation issues
- Expertise in SOQL
- Experience developing Visualforce pages, Visualforce components and Customer Controllers
- Experience creating Custom Report Types and developing custom Reports and Dashboards
- Experience with creating API callouts and integrating 3rd party Applications
- Expert at creating formulas and validation rules
