Job Title: Sr. Solution Architect- Cloud Transformation, Application, and Data (Sr. Director)

Our consumer goods client is looking for a Sr. Solution Architect dedicated to innovation and operational excellence. They are executing a high-stakes ERP implementation project, consolidating nine large ERP systems into a unified platform.
Position Overview:
Sr. Solution Architect with extensive experience in cloud transformation, application integration, and data management. This role will report directly to the Chief Digital Transformation and Technology Officer and will be responsible for guiding the technical direction and ensuring the successful integration of ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Lead and direct the technical strategy for integrating nine ERP systems, ensuring a cohesive approach for data migration, cloud adoption, and application integration. Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to address and resolve technical challenges associated with the ERP consolidation.
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement the system architecture for the ERP integration, focusing on ensuring a smooth transition from the second conference room pilot to system integration testing. Coordinate with technical vendors to establish a cohesive plan for data integration, addressing current gaps and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Technical Direction: Provide expert guidance and leadership to project teams, managing the technical aspects of the ERP implementation and addressing complex technical issues. Ensure the technical aspects of the project meet the go-live requirements, with minimal room for failure.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Chief Digital Transformation and Technology Officer, Sr. Director Global Enterprise Applications, and other stakeholders and technology vendors (Accenture and others) to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project. Prepare and present technical reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the technical implementation, focusing on preventing issues that could impact the April 1 go-live date and subsequent global rollout.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect with a strong background in cloud transformation, application integration, and data management.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale ERP implementations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP and proficiency in Profisee and Azure.
- Ability to direct and manage data and analytics projects.
- Experience in vendor management, including working with outsourced data providers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams.
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is a plus.
