Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:
• Prepare study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems
• Prepare plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment and distribution/collection system projects
• Obtain applicable project approvals from regulatory agencies including but not limited to EPA, EPD, Corps of Engineers, Soil & Erosion Control Permitting, etc.
• Have knowledge and experience of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of water, wastewater and site development related projects within the industry
• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering
• EIT Certification
• PE or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• AutoCAD and ArcGIS software experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Outstanding communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to excel within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred
• Hydraulic Modeling of water systems and hydrology studies
• Preference given to local candidates and candidates willing to locate to Lake Oconee area
