Position: Informatica Consultant (Job Id – 2614984)
Location: Oakland CA 94609 (Largely remote – Onsite needed 1-3 times)
Duration: 3 Months + Possible Extension

Position will be remote, however may need to come to onsite 1-3 times during the assignment. This is to support our ongoing UKG implementation
The Informatica Consultant will assist with UKG Pro Workforce Management Project for approximately three months. The Informatica consultant is responsible for working with HR and Payroll to create needed interfaces. This role will also work closely with our Human Resources and Payroll Departments to ensure that appropriate policies & procedures are adhered to within the implementation(s) and that the existing live functionality is not negatively impacted.
In collaboration with department and project management, the consultant will advise the project team of all risks and efficiencies and schedule any required procedures or knowledge transfer. The consultant will guide and perform design, testing and training as needed by the project team.
This will be a primarily remote position, but the incumbent should be available to travel as needed and work PST hours. Healthcare background is a plus.
Essential Functions:
- The successful candidate will interface with key stakeholders and apply their technical proficiency across various stages of the project.
- Use Informatica PowerCenter to create mappings, transformations, and load data into the target systems.
- Data modeling: Creating data models, building ETL processes, and performing data migration
- Programming: Using Informatica tools to update, test, and provide solutions for data issues
- Take responsibility for delivering work and designing the work effort.
- Proactively identify project issues and recommend viable solutions.
- Provide training and support to project team on interfaces and best practices.
- Development and testing of interfaces/flat files
- Work closely with Project Managers communicating and understanding the goals required to complete the required tasks on time and budget.
Required Qualifications:
- Informatica Experience – MUST HAVE
- Dell Boomi Experience a plus
- UKG experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter required
- UKG Pro HR/WFM modules preferred
- Evaluate requirements and recommend solutions.
- Knowledge and understanding of functional and technical disciplines, including programmers, systems analysts, and networking in a healthcare environment involving multiple applications and interfaces.
- Knowledge and understanding of integrating information systems with specific organizational business needs and plans.
- Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office and MS Project) and the ability to write reports.
- BA/BS in a clinical discipline, computer science, or related field or related experience.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible and related work experience with building integrations in Informatica.
- Knowledge of and experience with UKG Pro and Workforce Management preferred
- Knowledge of working with hospital information systems.
