Job Title: Corporate Communications Project Manager
Location: Avon, MN | hybrid 2 days in office
Duration: 4 months with high possibility to be hired on full time in 2025
Pay: $38-$46/hr depending on experience | W2 + benefits
What you’ll do as the Corporate Communications Project Manager:
- Organize and maintain a Corporate Communications calendar that includes daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for the team
- Collaborate with internal clients and department staff to ensure that all project resources, deliverables, and outcomes are clearly identified, organized, and available to the project team
- Partner with Corporate Communications leadership to regularly assess team capacity, tools, processes, and performance
- Provide visibility to project progress, obstacles, and challenges
- Use performance metrics to ensure efficient and effective department performance
- Ensure department processes and procedures are documented, up-to-date, and available to team members and clients
- Communicate and advocate for department processes, practices, and desired outcomes with team members and clients
- Lead highly visible, cross functional, multi-faceted Corporate Communications initiatives (e.g. major area within a department function, multiple workstreams, technical, moderate/large budget, 6–12-month timeframe)
- Manage project management tools, practices and processes that organizes the work, tracks and documents key deliverables and business impact
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, consultants and subject matter experts
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role within a marketing/communications agency or team
- Previous experience with organizing creative workflow, scheduling staff and contractor resources, and leading highly visible marketing and communications initiatives required
- Ability to organize, understand, and leverage data, metrics, and KPIs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with project management, scheduling and CRM tools and resources; proficient in Asana and HubSpot preferred
