Job Summary:
The Motivational Enhancement Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive support to clients by conducting bedside check-ins, managing front desk operations, maintaining accurate computer documentation, ensuring facility security, and assisting with morning medication distribution. The ideal candidate will possess a CASAC or CASAC-T license and have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar environment. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, well-being, and motivational support of clients within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bedside Check-Ins: Conduct regular bedside check-ins with clients to provide support, monitor well-being, and address any immediate needs or concerns.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk tasks including greeting clients and visitors, answering phone calls, and handling administrative duties to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Computer/Documentation Work: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports using facility software systems.
- Security Work: Monitor and ensure the safety and security of the facility by conducting routine checks, overseeing visitor access, and responding to any security concerns or incidents.
- Medication Assistance: Assist with the distribution of morning medications to clients, ensuring proper administration and adherence to prescribed medication plans.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: CASAC or CASAC-T license required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a similar environment, preferably in a counseling or supportive role.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Proficiency in computer usage and documentation.
