Seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in designing Downhole Tools to join an upcoming in Crowley, Texas (just south of Fort Worth). This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on, design-focused role, with the potential for a contract-to-hire arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the design of downhole tools, including well control products such as packers with valves, permanent packers, and removable packers.
- Hands-On Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience in the design and development process is critical. This role requires active involvement in the engineering process, not just supervision.
- Testing and Validation: Play a key role in the testing and validation of designs, ensuring that products meet rigorous industry standards.
- Multi-Disciplinary Role: This position requires wearing multiple hats, from design and prototyping to testing and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing downhole tools, with a focus on well control products.
- Experience with packers is highly desirable.
