Network Technician
3-year contract

Our Fortune 100 telecom client is hiring Network Technicians to join their Retail Deployment team. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert to support the deployment of complex retail store network hardware and services. You will be supporting onsite vendors and end user support technicians.
You will be following specific metrics such as mean time to repair, average speed to answer, and more to provide the highest level of support and guidance to the in-store technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote network surveillance and first tier troubleshooting for retail locations
- Test, locate, and repair simple to complex equipment problems
- Perform basic configuration and fault management for wide array of platforms in the network, this includes, but is not limited to, Cisco network hardware, broadband/T1 circuits, wired and wireless networks
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with Cisco hardware (routers/switches) and Cisco protocols.
- Intermediate level understanding of TCP/IP concepts and common router user interfaces and command structure.
- Intermediate level understanding of Wireless Networking (Access Points)
- Good communication skills with experience supporting customers and explaining technical support over the phone
- CCNA Certification preferred
- This position operates in a 24x7x365 environment. Shift work and the ability to participate in rotation
- Strong at-home Wi-Fi
