Naf Naf is hiring an experienced Restaurant Systems Administrator to provide technical support to all restaurant locations and the Support Center. We're seeking a candidate who combines technical know-how with proven project management abilities. The right person will have a solid understanding of restaurant operations and be driven to enhance operational efficiency and quality. They should be enthusiastic about pursuing excellence in all aspects of the business.
Job Description and Duties:
This position will have primary responsibility to maintain up-time and manage the menu and promos both in-store and online. This employee will respond to service tickets, inbound emails, and phone calls and work with operations to provide day to day support and problem resolution. While issues may be escalated to other resources inside/outside of company, this person will be responsible for ensuring timely resolution.
- Responsible for in-bound calls requiring technical trouble shooting of point-of-sale equipment and restaurant 3rd party applications
- Responsible for menu management, updates and execution of changes and updates across the POS, digital channels, and digital menu boards
- Interfaces with other internal departments, third party hardware and software suppliers, maintenance providers and shippers as required to resolve issues efficiently
- For current and new stores, responsible for configuring and deploying POS system projects including hardware and software installations and upgrades, network infrastructure, including wireless equipment, hubs, switches, cabling, and peripherals
- Identify, research, and resolve technical and operational problems
- Support on-call after hours emergency troubleshooting calls (in rotation)
- Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security
- Configure and support network parameters on user systems
- Use and track information using ticketing system
- Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
- Desktop and network troubleshooting and support
- Document recurring issues and resolutions for efficient handling of future incidents across the team
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network problems, tune performance of systems affecting end-users and provide solutions to problems using discretion and technical expertise
- Routinely monitor, track, and correct system abnormalities
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
- Create and keep documentation up to date on procedures for implementing and maintaining equipment and software
- Reports to Director of IT
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or commensurate experience
- Additional certifications in IT management, project management, or specific technologies can be beneficial
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IT systems
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff in live and remote environments
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in both IT and the restaurant industry
- Ability to guide the organization through technological changes and updates
Preferred Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience with Office 365 applications, particularly SharePoint. Develop and customize SharePoint sites to meet the specific needs of various departments and teams. Train employees on best practices for collaboration and document management.
- Seasoned in troubleshooting the tech stack of restaurant IT, with a particular mastery in industry-specific systems such as NCR Aloha POS, NCR Back Office, Qu Beyond, Synergy Suite, OLO, and various 3rd party delivery vendors
- Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- Ring Central
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- Meraki and Systems Manager
- Basic knowledge of networking

Pay: $60,000 – $70,000
