Position Overview: We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to evaluate feature requests, translate business requirements into actionable features, and leverage design tools and digital platform capabilities for cost-effective solutions. This role involves both on-site and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate & Translate: Assess feature requests and translate business requirements into features/stories for the development team.
- Analyze & Test: Assist in analyzing and testing cloud solution updates and releases.
- Business Practices: Understand and leverage the Design Tool Platform capabilities (Unity, Autodesk, Bynder, D365CE & FO, PIM, etc.).
- Collaborate: Work with business users and IT teams to identify strategies to achieve business goals.
- Resolve Issues: Conduct analysis, verify assumptions, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend resolutions.
- Project Delivery: Support IT project delivery using industry best practices (Agile, SAFe, ITIL). Act independently as a PM for smaller initiatives or support larger ones.
- Leadership: Establish effective relationships with peers and managers.
Position Expectations:
- Facilitate requirements gathering and document business and customer needs.
- Use tools (e.g., process flow charts, presentations, Azure DevOps) to convey business requirements.
- Prepare feasibility studies, cost analyses, and timelines for business requirements and projects.
- Maintain documentation, business processes, and user documentation.
- Create test plans and perform QA tasks for project work and software updates.
- Assist with project plans, timelines, and budgets. Report progress to IT management and business owners.
- Provide training and support to process leaders as needed.
- Model effective communication skills and assist with IT department operations.
Qualifications:
- College degree in business or information services, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT applications/systems analysis, implementation, and improvement.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative thinker with high initiative and results-driven.
- Ability to instruct and mentor others.
- Experience with Product Configuration Tools and Microsoft Technologies (e.g., Autodesk 2D/3D tools, PIM, D365CE, Azure, PowerBI, Azure DevOps).
- Collaborative team player.
- Experience with Product Configuration tools and custom application development processes (SAFe, Scrum, Lean).
