Position Requirements:
Experience: 5+ in Information Technology, in either development, server administration, or end user support. The ideal candidate would be able to provide support to users when needed but assist in building out Azure Cloud infrastructure and managing both Cloud/On-Prem infrastructure. Experience in a financial, legal, or other client facing environment. Looking for someone who is interested in learning many different aspects of Financial Technology. Candidate will have the opportunity to work on future infrastructure/development projects – depending on skillset and desire. (e.g. Azure, Active Directory, Network Security, Internal Reporting & Monitoring, Disaster Recovery planning)
Education: BS or BA degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or other computer related specialization or a Finance related degree
Character Requirements: Smart, diligent, motivated, creative troubleshooter - someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to add value to the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems, including Outlook email and other MS office applications, printers, phones, mobile devices, upgrades, and viruses, etc.
- Track issues to resolution, updating the internal knowledge base and/or communicating learnings to relevant business units.
- Maintain and Update firm’s infrastructure documentation, inventories, and assist in tracking of important deadlines and renewals.
- Research and recommend new technology to assist in firm operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Requires 5+ years of support and/or IT infrastructure experience.
- Must be willing and able to work on ad hoc projects during off-hours.
- Excellent Communication skills, need to be able to capable of presenting technical information to non-technical users.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to build and support firm’s technology as it scales.
- Able to manage one’s time and successfully meet project timelines.
- All other duties as assigned.
Technical Expertise:
- Office365, EntraID, Azure Infrastructure, Powershell, Zoom, Okta
- Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Mac)
- Office Suite/Office365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic desktop and network troubleshooting
- Exposure to server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and infrastructure components helpful but not required.
- Azure, VmWare, or AWS knowledge
Qualifications & Certifications: Cybersecurity Certs, CompTIA A+ or any Microsoft certifications, helpful but not required.
