SUMMARY:
The Lighting Controls Integration Manager – Project Group is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting all aspects of controls integration within the LEDVANCE project group responsibilities include working with vendors, portfolio integration, product marketing and technical support and layout and controls schedule support.
You have a lighting controls background and a passion for lighting. You are articulate, organized, and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously with a “can-do” attitude.
You lead by example, supporting colleagues in their efforts by identifying and implementing strategic relationships to leverage project based selling opportunities. You will maintain and nurture relationships with lighting controls product vendors, entities, and organizations for the purpose of multiplying sales efforts.
Working as part of a team, coaching, and supporting colleagues is second nature to you as is the desire to expand the LEDVANCE product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Establish new vendor relationships and business opportunities for the purposes of expanding LEDVANCE portfolio.
- Develop product sourcing requirements through evaluation of customer/specifiers lighting needs.
- Integrate control schemes into existing and future products; provide layouts and schedules for projects.
- Regularly keep management informed of problems, issues, and status of on-going projects.
- Provide technical support, training materials and in person support to sales and customers.
- Actively participate in cross functional teams to ascertain product and portfolio requirements.
- Relevant Industry Committee participation.
- Work with SAP software for vendor and product set up and ongoing maintenance.
- Ability to travel to meet vendors during and outside of traditional business hours as needed.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills.

- Demonstrated strength in negotiation skills with proven ability to meet set targets.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum BS or BE required, preferably in a technical field.
- Minimum three years controls experience
- Minimum five years of experience within the lighting or electrical industry.
- Demonstrable lighting and control system knowledge.
- LC – Lighting Certified preferred or ability to sit for exam within given year and pass the exam.
- SAP Application experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities especially critical path thinking.
