The IT System Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of enterprise computer systems and servers. The role is additionally responsible for the active resolution of problems, proactive monitoring, and implementation of preventative measures to limit disruption to computer systems, applications, and services.
- Maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of the Acumatica ERP system
- Maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of peripheral applications including Warehouse Management (Wisys Agility), EDI (Vantage Point EDI), Shipping (ShipRush), Reporting (Pulse Dashboard, Crystal Report, Bartender, NiceLabel, KnowledgeSynch EventManager & Power BI) systems
- Maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend SQL database instances using SSMS, Profiler, and IDERA applications
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of various integrations for sales and tax transactions using SQL suite (SSMS and SSIS)
- Domain and application-level user maintenance (Active Directory)
- Desktop, helpdesk, and remote user support
- Liaise between end-users and vendor support when necessary
EDUCATION, FORMAL TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years of database or system administration experience
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and SQL Database administration and development are required, certifications are a plus
- Strong knowledge of SQL querying and optimization required, certifications are a plus
- System administration and IT certifications are a plus
- Working experience using programming languages, particularly C# and VB a plus

- High competency level in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
- Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Typical office environment based in Pompano Beach, FL
- Must handle novel and diverse work problems daily
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports
- Occasional high stress work may require dealing with tight deadlines, conflicting priorities, and customer requirements
