Job Summary:
The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day programmatic operations to ensure high quality services through BBBS. Essential to the role is managing professionals, including performance management and coaching, while developing and maintaining strong engagement and data-driven systems for accountability, efficiency, and partnerships. The Program Manager (PM) will demonstrate exemplary supervision, networking, strategy, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate must be equipped to lead in a fast-paced, team-oriented culture with the ability to shift focus quickly based on identified needs and enhanced goals. The PM will collaborate with key community partners to ensure strategic relationships are built and maintained to benefit youth served through BBBS as well as provide strategic insight to Chief Program Officer as to where further or new partnerships are needed to manage the level of inquires of volunteers/youth.

Job Responsibilities:
-- Provide day-to-day management, coaching, supervision, and leadership to BBBSR program staff team members
-- Engage, develop, and hold staff accountable to work efficiently and effectively and to achieve individual and team goals. Establish and ensure a system and culture of continuous professional development
-- Promote a collaborative work environment within the team to foster efficiency and professionalism. Promote a positive work environment through a proactive, solution-oriented perspective, and comradery
-- Accountable for program team performance. Monitors and drives operational effectiveness using workflow and tracking systems (i.e., Matchforce). Ensures inquiries from volunteers and families are processed in a timely manner.
-- Collaborate with Chief Program Officer to ensure that programmatic excellence is achieved by using performance metrics, establishing operational benchmarks, and making improvements to operations, when needed.
-- Collaborate with Chief Program Officer to identify geographical areas/sectors that require targeted recruitment. Provide direction for team members to engage in recruitment.
-- Remain current on agency grant goals to determine needs and recruit to meet those needs. Collaborate with CPO to identify geographical areas/sectors that require targeted recruitment.
-- Assist in grant reporting through data collection
-- Support and communicate with established partnerships. Maintain positive relationships with community, school, faith-based, and business partners in the service area to develop mutually beneficial relationships that support agency matches
-- Support full agency events and fundraisers. Some nights and weekends will be required
-- All other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Project Management, Human Services, Youth Development or related field; 2 years related experience desired, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience required.

Physical and Other Requirements:
Extended periods of time typing, data entry, sitting, reading, writing. Lifting up to 20 lbs.
1. Mental Requirements include: General, Visual, and Numerical Intelligence. Analytical skills.
2. Traveling will be required on an as needed basis to meetings, appointments and events; reliable transportation required.
3. Occasional evenings and weekend work required as needed.

The work is performed primarily in an office setting, in the community and remotely if necessary. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
This position is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of 3 days in the office, located at 1 South Washington Street, Suite 405, Rochester, NY 14614
Salary: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience
