WCS Healthcare is working with the TOP Health System in Suffolk County, NY. We are currently looking to hire a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse within our Urology Department in East Setauket, NY Medical Group. This is a full time Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5:00pm role with no weekends!
Job Function:
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patients needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provides routine care for patients; Observes patients health; Assists with patient comfort.
- Assists physicians and registered nurses; Prepares specimens for lab courier.
- Provides wound care; Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas; Monitors catheters.
