We are looking for an experienced startup tech lead from the industry who can bring the skills and experience necessary to set this team up for success. The growth path for this role could see you becoming the CTO in the near future.
Key Responsibilities for the Blockchain Tech Lead :
- Lead and manage a team of blockchain developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge blockchain solutions to enhance our clients innovative product using Java / Go / Rust
- Engineering distributed systems and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology seamlessly into existing infrastructure and product roadmap
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and industry trends to ensure they stay at the forefront of innovation
- Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies and tools to identify opportunities for improvement
We are looking for a Blockchain Tech Lead with:
- Proven experience in a startup: At least 2 years of experience leading a B2B tech startup as a technical manager, from early stages to product-market fit.
- Blockchain expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience working on blockchain projects, including experience with relevant technologies and frameworks (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric).
- Strong technical skills: 3+ years of dedicated backend development experience with Java, Rust, or Golang, along with a deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
- Enterprise experience: Previous experience working as a solutions engineer or product engineer for enterprise clients.
- Agile methodology: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a comfort level with decision-making and working under uncertainty.
- Leadership and negotiation skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, as well as negotiate effectively to advocate for the best course of action for engineers.
- Project management: Experience owning project management, including resource allocation and understanding the commercial impact of engineering decisions.
