EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
The Canopy NYC is looking for a Studio Manager for our brand new play space and prenatal parent club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! This is a full-time position requiring 5 days, 40 hours per week of commitment (Tuesday-Saturday with days off Sunday/Monday). Candidates will not be considered for the position if they aren’t available on one weekend day.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Oversee and lead our part time club crew to ensure they are meeting company standards and expectations while adhering to our core values
- Ensure team members have been trained thoroughly during the on-boarding process and have the tools necessary to succeed in their respective roles
- Create and manage monthly part time schedules
- Audit time clocks prior to bi-weekly payroll
- Support individuals to pursue meaningful growth opportunities, within the role and through promotion while recognizing a job well done!
- Manage part-time, annual performance reviews
- Track performance of all direct reports
MEMBER ACQUISITION, HOSPITALITY, + RETENTION
- Help our marketing team acquire new play space members
- Manage current member satisfaction
- Problem solve escalated member complaints and feedback
- Work with and create initiatives to engage and retain current members
- Manage internal team members customer communications and hospitality
- Be accountable for member acquisition/retention reporting and goals
- Lead space tours as needed
- Communicate and drive the success of member updates, facility changes, and other important announcements and initiatives
SPACE OPERATIONS
- Manage the relationship with the cleaning team and other studio vendors
- Ensure quality and cleaning expectations are being met in our spaces at all times
- Hold team members accountable for operational policies and SOPs
- Engage with Landlords/Super related to facilities issues as needed
- Perform monthly facilities inspections
- Manage and oversee supply ordering, budgeting, and inventory management
MANAGEMENT TEAM SUPPORT
- Attend weekly team meetings with CEO, COO + Marketing manager
- Support and assist management team with new initiatives, marketing role outs, community engagement plans, and growth efforts

- You have at least 1 year experience in a similar position, preferably within the hospitality, wellness or childcare industries
