DEVITA is currently accepting resumes for a Branch Structural Department Manager to assist with growing our structural engineering unit. The position would lead the Greenville structural engineering office, and would involve producing structural designs, analysis, and permit documents for a variety of building types, including multifamily residential, podium, institutional, and manufacturing facilities. This position reports to the structural department manager.

The Branch Structural Department Manager is responsible for:
- Working with the structural team to deliver engineering solutions and construction documents on multiple projects, on budget and on schedule
- Leading the firm’s post-tension structural design services, including sealing related construction documents
- Coordinating structural team activities necessary to complete projects, including supervising and checking the work of structural designers and sub-consultants
- Designing structural systems for multi-family, commercial, institutional, and manufacturing facilities.
- Managing client projects as they pertain to structural work
- Coordinating technical project requirements with project team members, including clients, project managers, designers, and engineers, as well as other disciplines
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' engineering experience
- B.S. degree in civil, structural, or related field of engineering
- Professional Engineering licensure required, with ability to become licensed in multiple states
- Structural Engineering (SE) licensure preferred
- Experience with a variety of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
- Post-tension and podium design experience required
- High-rise design experience preferred
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
